Teledyne Optech CMS V500
The Teledyne Optech Cavity Monitoring System (CMS) was developed for use in underground mining. It is an ideal scanning solution for dangerous or inaccessible areas of a mine. Its thin profile of 5.2 inches allows it to get in spaces a human could not. Having a 320 degree field of view allows you scan nearly all the way around the device. While standing in safety outside the mine, the operator sets up the system and can define the scan perimeters. The system used non-cooperative targets to collect data, even in the harsh conditions of a mine shaft. The internal camera can capture images and video throughout the scan. Real-time data visualization makes checking your scan for any missed data before leaving the site. CMS deliverables are available in industry standard formats making it easy to share your 3D scans and use them in software workflows
